My friends (they wrote it) and I (I illustrated and edited and compiled etc) a book for their one year anniversary and son and enough of our friends wanted it that we published on Amazon!

They want to do more books, so I would love any advice! We're having a lot of accessibility issues with Amazon's children book formatting (both I and the author are visually impaired, so the fact we can't make it accessible on screen readers through Amazon Create is really not acceptable to us) so any ideas for that would be appreciated! We have a local bookstore interested but I'm not a marketing person, so I'm lost there.

Also dealing with illustrator burn out. They have 5 books planned and I super love the project and making things with my friends to share, but I'm not paid for this and we don't get like, actual returns (nor do we expect to, really), but it's -really- hard to stay motivated when there's no financial gain from it because I'm a doctor of occupational therapy full time so I struggle with burn out always. I would love advice for powering through finishing books 😭

But yeah! I'm really excited to share this and open to any advice, opinion, critique! It's been really fun helping my friends bring their sons bedtime stories to life ❤️

Tysm for even reading!
