**Alright my post got taken down - I didn't get a reason but maybe it has to do with links, so I'm just going to avoid linking anything! Just a note this is all open source. Before it was removed I got so much amazing feedback - thank you. I already deployed the android version so I will followup with the beta test form if you want to contribute :D**

So I've been climbing for 10 years and have dealt with at least six pulley injuries. The only thing that seems to have made a difference is following Emil Abrahamsson's twice a day hang sessions. I almost exclusively Kilter or climb out at Fontainebleau so this is coming from a boulderer's perspective, I think some more endurance climbers might not have the same experience.

Anyways, I was using Frez (formerly Climb Harder) to track my twice daily routine plus my Tindeq. Literally worked so well and kept me motivated, plus ensured that I was staying within the force range that would just activate the fingers instead of stressing the pulleys more.

UNFORTUNATELY! Frez started charging a subscription for the custom routine I built based on Emil's recommendations. And they're now selling their own gauge, the Frez Dyno, which is effectively locked to their app. Rubbed me the wrong way considering Frez itself got started on the back of Tindeq's openly published protocol…

So I took some time and built a better version that has no cost, no ads, no subscriptions, no account. It syncs with iCloud/local storage so there's no server for me to maintain, and I added a way to share routines as QR codes so you can post one and someone else can scan it straight into their app.

My commitment is just to make the best routine-focused tracker that doesn't have ads, tracking, or subscriptions. This is one of the small upsides of AI, I can build this stuff way faster for the niche user that would benefit other than me, lol.

What it does:

* Built around the routine, basically your routine IS the home screen. Open the app, tap start, pull.
* Has load targets so you can build max sessions and no hangs.
* Works even if you don’t have a gauge, Timer-only mode runs the whole session on the clock.
* Live countdown on the lock screen and Dynamic Island between reps.
* Share a routine as a QR code. The code IS the routine, there's no server involved. Scan it and it lands in your app with targets resolving against YOUR maxes.
* A day of actual climbing counts as your finger training for the day, and the evening reminder shuts up accordingly. A limit bouldering session is more finger load than the hangs it replaced.
* Private sync plus local storage. No account, no analytics. The App Store privacy label is literally "Data Not Collected."
* Fav part is the little grip icon in the Dynamic Island
* Gives you the options to automatically update max force and all routines that use that grip as your max increases.
* You can share your consistency calendar as a transparent image like Strava.

Gauges:

The Tindeq Progressor is the main one, tested against my own unit. I also ported support for the Weiheng WH-C06 (the cheap crane scale everyone buys off AliExpress), Entralpi, Climbro, Griptonite Motherboard, PitchSix Force Board and the CTS500. Only the Tindeq and the WH-C06 have been tried with real hardware so far. If you own one of the others and want to help verify, that would be amazing!

The royalty that made this possible:

* Stevie-Ray Hartog's grip-connect — open source (BSD-2-Clause) Bluetooth protocol implementations for basically every force gauge in climbing. Every non-Tindeq gauge in my app exists because of this repo, and it's credited in the app's settings too.
* Tindeq themselves, for openly publishing the Progressor's Bluetooth API. The entire ecosystem of third-party training apps exists because they documented their protocol instead of locking it down. Buy their stuff.
