Adding a track in Studo, how to make clear it is a solo track?

When I add a track in Studio, a new part like a guitar, a violin etc, often it generates also the whole other arrangement along with the new instrument. Only sometimes it actaully makes the solo instrument on its own. How can I avoid it generating the full arrangement on top?

Or is that just random luck?
