How do I track if my medication is working?

I’ve been on a trial of 18mg Concerta. It seems like it’s helping a bit but I also know that the placebo-effect/excitement can skew these results.

Are there any objective criteria/measurements that can help me understand exactly to what degree it’s working? So far I’ve just been redoing the ASRS screening nightly to see if there’s any day-to-day improvement in my scores.
