1206 SC 2600 OBC 750 ST castes exists so why don't they intermarry if they want to increase inter caste numbers ?

We often hear from blue flag carrying groups that intercaste marriage is a must to eradicate caste discrimination, and you will find them saying that they are "the Bahujans" aka "the majority"so shouldn't it be a greater responsibility of their own to do intercaste marriage ?

In Bihar out of 214 castes only 7 castes belong to the general category (4 Hindu, 3 Muslim) meaning 207 castes belong to the reserved category. So why don't they intermarry to increase inter caste marriage numbers ?

95 to 98 percent of the population in Tamil Nadu belongs to the reserved category, yet around 97 percent of marriages happen within the same caste.

So why is this responsibility of intercaste marriage always placed on the shoulders of general category people when Chamars won't allow their girl to marry a Valmiki or a Kuki won't be happy when their girl goes to a Naga?

In Haryana among safe houses for lovers many people belong to the Dalit community both boys and girls.

So shouldn't the responsibility of intercaste marriage be higher on the shoulders of "the Bahujans" aka "the majority"?

Conflicts among reserved categories are nothing new conflicts can be caused by status or resources.

Why do they expect the 2 to 4 percent general category population of Tamil Nadu to increase the data of intercaste marriage when they themselves are in the majority but they don't want it cause they themselves would have to give their daughters, which they actually don't want to do.

If issue was only about intercaste marriage than they themselves would have don't it but For a sexual pest like that one MP IAS ...getting a general category girl is like a trophy or some kind of pseudo revenge.

Reality is people who got reservation by saying we faced Discrimination are also casteist to other castes of their own category they have their own ladder of backward forward where giving their daughters hand for marriage to other caste of their own category is difficult.
