Study help

Hi guys! The August SAT was my first ever official SAT and I scored a 1400 (730R&W, 670Math) and I was wondering how to improve from here. I am planning on taking the October 3 test. Also, if you have any tips for the PSAT those would be appreciated too, as my state has a very high cut off for National Merit. Thanks!
