Visiting undergraduate student at Columbia

Hi everyone! :)

I’m an international undergraduate student currently studying in Europe.

I’m trying to understand the difference between being an undergraduate visiting/exchange student through Columbia College (CC) vs. Columbia SPS, and I was wondering if anyone here might be able to explain how the two options differ in practice. I’m also curious whether one is generally more competitive to get into than the other.

If anyone here has actually been an undergraduate visiting/exchange student at either CC or SPS, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.
