Good piece for 13 year old for solo & ensemble?

Hello musicians,
My daughter (8th grade) has been playing bass for 3 years in her school orchestra, with a private instructor, and in a university youth orchestra. She’s pretty talented but not super committed, practices 30 minutes/day generally. She is looking for suggestions for a piece for this year’s district solo & ensemble festival (January’27), specifically a solo about 2-3 minutes long. I’m not musical enough to specify what level she is playing, but last year she played Bagatelle and Sarabande with no trouble. Her teacher has some ideas but she’s not crazy about any of them. I’m hoping this group might have some ideas for a solo (with piano accompaniment)?Thanks so much!
