Anyone know any truly stellar apartments or location recommendations under 2k for a 1Br apartment, within a 5 mi radius from Midtown?

Looking to move down soon and want to know the inside information on where the best places are be in the city.

I’m 24 and hoping to find a place with a little bit of social life baked in. - For example, when I visited Jersey City, I found this place with a restaurant and bar inside, wine Wednesdays, and ongoing events and clubs to join. Needless to say it’s been my fantasy since.

Walkability a major plus, as is being on the east side of the city. (VHI, O4W, Inman).
