numb area on my forearm

i’m not sure if I’m asking this in the right sub. I noticed it maybe five days ago, a spot on my forearm feels a little numb to the touch, maybe about 70% feeling. I work in construction and I believe i hit my funny bone extremely hard maybe two to three weeks ago or so. I didn’t pay it any mind, I’m not even entirely sure that it was the same arm. but the outer part of my forearm started going numb. no pain, can this possibly resolve itself or is it worth the trip to the doctor?
