Another frustrated story.. What do I do wrong?

Need Tips / Advice / Insights

Hi everyone.

My turn to post here asking for help I guess after seeing so many of these posts...

I start to be very frustrated with AP. I just don't seem to be able to make it.

I feel like I follow instructions to the letter but it doesn't work and I don't understand what I do wrong.

I will try to explain to you in detail my approach and hopefully somebody will be able to help me.

It s been 2 years now that I be been trying to AP.

I was highly frustrated after a year and half of trying so I decided to stop for a while. Now I want to get back to it with a fresh mindset, hopefully you ll see through my stories some flaws in my procedure.

I write my dreams down. I keep a journal of my APs tries. I do at least 30 min of meditation a day for 2 years ( including the Monroe's tape, Robert Bruce's technique)

I started with the raduga technique for a month and when I saw that it didn't lead anywhere, I moved on to direct techniques, mantras, no technique methods, illusion methods, hypnagogia tech, head lift, call the guides/innerslef etc, always trying to favour WBTB.

I tried also going through the lucid dreaming route a few times, but I feel it a even harder than APing directly.

For indirect methods like Raduga technique or Head Lift where you do exit techs right after waking up, I feel that I always wake up in the physical world. I never feel I am in astral. I make sure to do the exit techniques anyways. But it doesn't works.

I sometimes wake up 6 times in the night with no success. I manage to stay still, remember to do the exit technique as soon as I wake up... but nothing.

I dont know if I'm right but I feel like I m never in the zone, I transition too quickly from deep sleep to fully awake when I wake up. I feel like I miss the right state.. I basically feel straight my physical body when I wake up.

I have often have the energy buzzing in my body OR heatwaves with high heartbeat. But whatever I do ( exit technique, waiting for the buzz to finish and then exit or simply waiting for something to happen) nothing works.

Well, I did have some 'success stories' but nothing compare the amount of tries and it felt very ponctual, nothing that can be reproduced on demand.

I don't know if I can count them as success because it was painful to get to them and they are not scalable, and I don't even know if there were AP.

Those are my notes:

  1. After a whole night of trying radugas technique, I felt very frustrated. At 9 in the morning I remember falling asleep and dropping it. I started to dream that I was crying because I ll never manage to do it. Then I started to levitate. I remember looking at myself in a mirror in the room but I had short hair. Only then I realised I was dreaming and getting conscious. I kept levitating into the ceiling but got into a void on my floor. I tried to escape it by crawling on the floor, I couldnt see a thing. It was like crawling in honey or in a swamp. It took so much energy and mind power to escape this matter. When I finally got out of it, I got up and went to the kitchen to eat something ( that was my plan). But I saw my wife who was so happy to see me and we hugged. Then I got confused and forgot what I had to do and went back to my body.

  2. I realised I was dreaming and in my bed I knew I was in the right state so I got out.

I walked through the corridor but couldn't see a thing, expect light was coming out of my hands. I said 'clarity now' several times, nothing happened. I tried to turn on the light, it didn't work. I went to the bathroom to look into a mirror ( that was my plan) and I looked way younger, like a teen. And half of my face was in the dark. I tried to focus to see all my face, but I think it tired me out and I got sucked out in the ceiling and back to my body. I had my eyes open in my bed.

  1. WBTB, raduga's technique. After a few hours of trying, I quit for the night. I start to be on the edge of sleeping when I hear " You put too much intensity in what you're feeling" ( I still don't really get it, or maybe I misheard). But I know I am in the right state. I'm on my belly at this point I try to exit but I feel glued to my body. I feel that I can rub my hands, so I do it through the mattress. I try to exit but don't manage to. After what feels like 2 minutes or more, I try to exit more aggressively but I am in my physical body. ( I do checks all the time)

Any thoughts are welcome!

Thanks for reading me,

++

Optional:

When I do the WBTB method, after waking up my mind is hectic, way more than usual. Impossible to stop mental activity sometimes. I have a random music very loud in my head.
