Hot Take: Duelist is the easiest role in the game.

Coming from someone who has played Initiator and Controller and has docked more hours on them while playing duelist on the side. I can assure and confidently say that Duelist is the easiest role in the entire game. The whole mental burden of site taking is eliminated when at most, duelist role is to anticipate enemy and to kill, while having a whole toolset built around helping secure or escape disadvantageous positions.

Initiator and controller give few options applicable for fighting and more so are built around info gathering and denial, which I think is some of the hardest things to do in this game due to chaotic state and nature of ranked.

I’ve had more success playing duelist turning my brain off on timing and just play to anticipate and kill then I had info gathering and info denial. No wonder most of the top immos and radiants are all duelist players mainly.
