Beginner reptile

I'd like to get some sort of gecko or skink

It would be my first pet of this type

Minimal to moderate handling is fine. I'd like to occasionally hand feed or have it approach me in its enclosure.

Someone that's not too much of an escape artist. I have large dogs so I wouldn't want it getting loose

What supplies would I need for a good habitat
