5 month old screams for most of the day

Likely experiencing teething discomfort more, but has been like this for a good month or two

Basically first 10 minutes after a nap he’s fine. Then, starts screaming. Stops when moved, entertained, talked to, but continues otherwise. The screams aren’t cries, they’re just extremely loud and sometimes he goes red during them

He’s always had a highly reactive temperament. It used to he with crying where he would escalate 0-100 in 0.1 seconds and sometimes you couldn’t stop him.

Now it’s just this screaming constantly. It can’t be good for his throat, our ears and stress levels are also constantly kept on edge. Did anyone else have this phase and how long did it last?
