Paint flaking off of engine hood, if I bring it in to get repainted at a body shop, would it hold up better or will the aluminum body keep giving me problems?

I know aluminum trucks aren’t the best at holding paint so I don’t want to waste my money getting a paint job done if the same thing is going to happen. Right now I just keep repainting the spots with spray paint although that will start getting expensive if I have to keep doing this
