Comfort for taller Trailseeker drivers

I'm considering a Trailseeker for my next vehicle and checked one out in the showroom the other day. The cargo and back seat space were great but I was surprised at how difficult it was to get comfortable in the drivers seat. I'm 6'4" and couldn't get the seat low enough - my eyes were at the top of the windshield. Additionally, my knees were crowded by the door panel and center console.

Granted, I only spent a few minutes in it.

For any longer-term owners on the tall side - did you find the vehicle to be confining at first, but get used to it over time?

FWIW, I'm coming from a VW GTI which I find to be perfectly comfortable, so i don't demand or expect a hugely expensive interior.
