For people who have applied in years past...does the post II decision correlate with stats?

❔ Question

Blessed to have received II's to a few schools already, some of which I am fairly above the median MCAT. My interviews have so far been fine and I consider myself a good interviewer/speaker in general, but wanted to know from past years does being higher stats going in improve overall odds of acceptance? Seems like most schools fill out the top half of their class first (stats wise) and based on MSAR, most schools matriculant stats are a bit below their accepted stats. I know the process is unpredictable but given that some applicants get multiple A's this would make sense right?
