Does anyone else get almost nothing from certain musks?

Specific anosmia to some musk molecules is apparently reasonably common, and it would explain a lot of threads where one person calls a fragrance loud and another says it's skin-scent at best.

I seem to be partially anosmic to something in the clean-musk family. Fragrances people describe as overwhelming read as nearly blank on me.

Has anyone identified which specific materials they can't smell? And has it changed what you buy, or do you just avoid whole categories now?
