Hardtail gang: Q

A question I’m sure Chromag gets often: Which bike thrives in more categories of riding, mixed rock, dry flow, steep tech, and or jump lines, between Rootdown, Stylus Mx, and Wideangle?

I’m torn between bikes and would like to hear some anecdotes. I lean towards more playful full-sus MX setups but enjoy the balance of a non-mixed wheel.
