What are the benefits/ are there notable benefits for recruiting them?

!I am unsure how heavy the spoiler of being able to recruit clones is, as it is only available somewhat far into the story, but I've got a question regarding them.!<

!So just now I got the ability to recruit clones, but I don't really get the benefit of doing so, except role-playing as a full fleshed clone squad (which you can still somewhat do before by putting the "normal" recruits into clone armor). !<

!I thought maybe they have clone specific traits or something like that, but I am not able to find them if there are any, and there are no new weapons specifically for clones as far as I can see. !<
