André Bourgeois is SUCH A BAD FATHERRR

Why the hell did he like neglect his own child, spoiled chloe and was such a bad father but all of a sudden he became a really good stepfather to zoe.
I’m still in season 5 so I don’t know what happens next but god I hate how he is portrayed as this nice stepfather who stepped up for zoe because her biological family was negligent towards her while this andré neglected his own childddddd
