cpsc et@m

hi, freshman looking to et@m into csce here. i know cpsc used to be extremely, extremely competitive not just at tamu but globally 1 or 2 years ago. and i know that people say it has fallen off pretty hard in popularity as of recent. i looked at the most recent et@m results and 100% of people who had it as a first choice got in and more but i guess i still feel pretty anxious.. i don't think a 3.75 is attainable for me unless i study 25/8 but i can most definitely pass my classes and be a very mundane student. i guess what i'm asking is, are my chances of getting into cpsc holistically much better than what it was like a few years ago? cpsc is something i genuinely want, i'm not chasing the career for the salary.. but i'm also not very competitive is all 😅
