Floating through purple tunnel - Was it AP?
For the past several years, I have been getting some form of "light" sleep paralysis. I can always stop the experience pretty easily, and I do not see or hear any entities. I can feel my legs getting stiff/paralyzed, sometimes feel like something is jumping on me, and then I feel like I'm being dragged by my feet off the bed. I also sometimes hear buzzing type sounds, they're not super loud and they don't seem as vivid/distinctive as the vibrations people seem to experience in AP. If I let myself get dragged off the bed, I always end up floating upward through a vaguely purple tunnel and then through what looks like the night sky with stars. I might also float through random nature scenes (one time, I was set down in a meadow). If I end up floating back to my body, I can feel the air rushing past me and actually still feel that sensation seconds after waking up. I have zero control over the experience (I've tried). However, this experience is vague and I forgot most of the details. I may either wake up or it may transition to a regular dream. I tend to get these weird experiences in the morning and wonder what exactly this is. One time I had a experience that felt much closer to regular AP. I felt like I was floating above my bed; everything was dark, so I couldn't see my body in bed, and I had no control (I tried the "clarity now" command and it didn't do anything). This state felt incredibly unstable (unlike the other experiences I've described) and I snapped back very fast. This only happened once, and I haven't experience this since. How close are these experiences to AP? I would like to try AP eventually and wonder if I can use this at all as leverage.
