Opinions Welcome...

Hi all,

Would appreciate some opinions on long-term financial strategy based on my families circumstances below. I'm totally ignorant on penions/schemes/financial products that might be available for savings. Have a 4 y/o so looking to maximise our position for their future. Open to left-field thoughs on how best to do that and willing to speculate to a degree (not crypto).

Own home (very modest 2-bed rural cottage with no debt, value 250k). Cash savings of 80k with 130k income between me and my wife (both 40 y/o). We both have modest pensions in their infancy (both contributing approx 10k pa from our 65k salaries).

Open to ideas on investments/strategies/ideas/opportunities to speculate and respect that some beloved maxing of the pension might just be the obvious play!
