Why do I always look like someone else in my dream?

I look completely different in my dreams, I was born with blonde hair it turned dark brown (dirt blonde) so I have dark brown hair right now, the person in my dream that I am always, in every single dream, is blonde, has a completely different hairstyle, wears completely different clothes, different eye color etc. you get the point. So basically I have longer hair the person in my dream has short blonde and unkept hair. I usually wear a white/blue shirt and black shorts or sweatpants, but this guy wears a white shirt. Black tie, and white shorts. Anyone else like this? Been looking like this in my dreams since I was 4
