Is this method common among transgender women?

I am early 30s, and I am pretty sure I am trans (have been considering it for the past four years or so, yet am still presenting male), and this has always been my method of masturbation as long as I can remember, since I accidentally discovered it at about age 5, long before knowing what masturbation actually was. All I knew is that it felt amazing.

I generally have humped to fully clothed women, too, not so much porn.

So, is it possible I have subconsciously gravitated towards it long before knowing I could be a woman?.
