Confidence?

56M (Ohio) I keep being told I just need to be more confident. I just need to feel confident. Confidence is a reward for having hope and succeeding from your efforts, but with continuous letdowns and failures and not having anyone for support when you’re at your lowest and no one is there, no kind words, not even a kind ear to talk to, you look to others hoping they may care but they don’t.
I always am so alone and I will most likely die this way. Death isn’t the real fear; it’s the fear of leaving and not being missed or being remembered. There’s nothing more alone than knowing even while alive nobody cares
