Interviewing Individuals with T6 and above SCIs for Georgia Tech Capstone Project
Hello! I'm Leah, a biomedical engineering (BME) student at Georgia Tech, and I'm researching body temperature regulation from the perspective of individuals affected by T6 and above SCIs for my final design project. If you would be willing to share your experience with me and my team, it'll just be a quick (~30-40 min) interview. We will not disclose your name or any identifying information, only the facts that you tell us in the conversation and that we made initial contact with you through Reddit. You are free to tell us at any point what information you would rather we not use. Our questions will be focused on how you currently combat an issues you have (if any) with regulating your body temperature, what your day-to-day routine is, and specific physical/mental changes (sensation, mobility, pressure, etc.) you have noticed since your SCI. We aim to keep this conversation respectful, and will come ready to learn. Please reply to this post for me to reach out to you individually, or feel free to message me directly. Thank you so much!
