What do you do with relatives who ask for prescription for antibiotics

Hello!

Would like to rant lng here. Ako lng ba naiinis pag binubuksan ko messenger ko tas biglang makakakita ka ng message from a relative “dokie hello, pwede humingi ng reseta para ganitong antibiotic kasi masakit pag iho. Yung cotrimoxazole sana”.
Syempre di ako muna binigay and asked for further history which is nagstart pa lng kaninang madaling araw lng and no other signs and symptoms except dysuria. So I advised magpa urinalysis nlng muna sya and she was hesistant and said “naka experience na ako ng ganito dati at nagpa urinalysis din nun time na yun may bacteria daw sa ihi ko” 🤦‍♀️.

So I didn’t prescribe the antibiotic and now I feel like tingin nila sakin malditang doctor.

I just want to ask paano nyo ba hinahandle to ng maayos?

P.S I have been giving them prescriptions before for presc refill sa maintenance meds nila baka kaya akala nila ganun lng kadali manghingi ng Rx.
