29F seeking guidance and prayer

Assalamualaikum sisters!

I am 29F living in a small city in Canada. I was born in India and grew up in Canada. Allhumdulliah I had supportive parents who supported me in getting education first.

When I was 23 I got my first Rishta through parents and I was naive and said yes but later realized we were not compatible as our life goals were different. He wanted someone who could cook clean and maintain the house the Indian mentality whereas I was more career focused and trying for med school. I decided to say no and it did not sit well with family I got depressed and basically everything went downhill for me. After that I got 2 rishta from India 1 presented as this person study visa got rejected are you interested to which I immediately said no and other was working as investment banker in Canada which I did not find suitable for myself.

Now I am 29 and family stopped looking for me past 2 years saying I am too picky. My parents don’t know many people in the city we live in that are Indian Muslim. I have trust issues on apps because it’s long distance. For me talking in person and seeing the person with family is so important to build a genuine connection.

I don’t know what to do I feel I am getting old. Seeing younger nieces and nephews getting married stresses me out as all families keep talking about me and insulting my parents. Soon no one will be interested and I will end up alone. I really wish to find a compatible partner who understands me same level of deen and understanding. However, I don’t know where to start or what to do so I am just looking for guidance and advice. I am content with whatever Allah has written for me. I just wish I wasn’t this stressed about marriage and not have to see parents worry.
