Did nobody notice that an extra second ran off on Michigan’s spike play?

Yes, it’s clear from a freeze-frame that on the first Hail Mary attempt, the clock hit :00 before anyone touched it.

It’s also clear from a freeze-frame that Michigan spiked the ball with :10 still on the clock. It ran down to :08 and then they only restored it back to :09.

Still handled horribly by the officials regardless, but I don’t agree that WMU should have won. You can’t cherry-pick one incorrect ruling and ignore the other.
