can I get to a better place in life by getting my A+ and spam applying to every open help desk job in the Bay Area

Have a CS degree (worthless) and a full time job in retail I am unable to quit bc I need money

just want a job with a set schedule for once so I can work on sorting other messed up stuff in my life out
