Repost bc I'm stupid: best way to get from Valletta to Mdina?

What is the best way to get from Valletta to Mdina for a tourist? I know you can use the bus. Are Uber or Bolt an option, and is it hard to find drivers that want to drive that drive throughout the day? Do we need to book ahead of time through eCabs? Thanks for any info!
