Any thriller romance?

So I’m big into thriller books. I just finished the AGGTM series and I love a book that keeps you on your toes or keeps you turning the page because of how absurd or crazy it is, like American Psycho. My girlfriend LOVES romance and I want to see all the hype and have this is common with her.

Are there any books that combine the two ideas? I’ve heard the Haunting Adeline horror stories from her and friends, so nothing around that pls. lol. Thank you in advance 😭🙏
