I’m a teen and I’m open to dating bisexual guys but I have some questions

First off I have to say that I’m not bisexual I’m a gay 15 year old who still trying to figure out dating and relationships in general. I wanna date men but trying to find people like me are near impossible in my high school since almost all the boys in my school are closeted. Besides that though the main reason I wanted to talk about this is due to my friend who we’re gonna call Carl. I came out to Carl while we were texting and he said that he thinks he’s bisexual as well but he couldn’t see himself dating a man. After reading that I went down a rabbit hole of bisexuality and found out that you can be equally attracted to both genders but you can more attracted to one gender than the other. I guess my question is if I’m dating a bisexual man how will I know if they will be emotionally invested as I am. I know bisexuality is a spectrum and I’m not trying to push stereotypes It’s just a genuine question. I think I could probably ask them their range in bisexuality but what if they don’t know themselves. I think I’m definitely overthinking it much but I’m very curious and open to feedback if anyone wants to reply.
