Feeling kind of hopeless about wedding dress shopping

Recently engaged and wanted to start wedding dress shopping… however every boutique near me has dresses that start at $1700… that is out of my price range. I would spend max 1k on my absolute dream dress. Does anyone have recommendations on cheap dresses?
