Not sure if this could mean a retrenchment, just afraid as this is my first job.

For context purposes, I'm in a marketing / branding related role for 1.5 years now, where my main scope is project management and working with external vendors for certain deliverables.

This week, I noticed that my team lead has been called into meetings with HR and another senior manager of my team. After those meetings, my team lead will go into another 1 on 1 meeting with the HR manager. This went on for 3 days straight.

To add on, on Thursday, the HR had a discussion with the senior manager of my team where one of them told him to just take leave on Friday and he did. Just afraid for myself right now and if this could mean a retrenchment.
