Looking into a Prius V

I am starting to look into buying a Prius V. I know about the EGR issue to look out for but are there any other things I need to be aware of? I have no prior experience with a hybrid of any sort. I do however have 2011 Corolla that I do basic maintenance on (filters, lights, brakes, O2 sensor stuff).
