5 month old kitten wants to nurse on my hands

My 5 month old, neutered boy was an orphaned bottle baby.

He likes to try to suckle/nurse on my hands whenever he’s cuddling. It hurts though so I don’t let him do it. He doesn’t seem to try to nurse on blankets or shirts, just fingers/hands.

I don’t know if he’s associating them with bottle feeding or something? Will he grow out of it?

He eats solid food without issues.
