How to make an app keep the same rotation as when the F8U when opened?

I play a game and every time when I open the game, it always force rotates where the crease is going left and right. But I want the game to stay where the crease is up and down. I turned on landscape view in settings under labs but that doesn't fix it. Rotation lock is unlocked, but it always forces it to rotate where the crease is left and right. Hopefully I explained that correctly. Thank you.
