Okay, so I(20M) have this friend whom I consider as best friend who is 20M. We’ve been friends since the start of college, around 2 years. Lately, though, his actions have started to bug me way too much. Let’s address him TH.

**Incident 1:**

During his birthday, I replied to his status wishing him, and obviously the convo later went to gifts. I don't have a problem with giving presents, but then he recommended a watch that cost around ₹5K, which was way out of my budget😭 I haven't even spent that much on my own birthday. And I ended up sending him ₹1K as a gift just because he recommended it.

**Incident 2:**

During when we recently went to watch Spiderman BND, I paid for that too, and he told me we can compensate his share with the snacks we will get during the interval. I did the same thing for Dhurandhar 2 too in PVR cuz in PVR the snacks price and the ticket price are almost equal.

During the interval, when I was talking with my female bsf in Insta chats, after I was done, he asked me to give him my phone to check the model and stuff, and then he opened my Instagram chats with my bsf without my permission, and ofc I call her supercute names, like "little chicken mochi bean" and so many, he saw that😭 and then I snatched the phone. Cuz he doesn't have maturity WTF?!! There is a thing called privacy.

**Incident 3:**

This was what was getting me, and it's really... He doesn't have maturity. But still I'm not sure if it's entirely his fault.

The next day after the show, about my female bsf (18), we’re hinted to be in a relationship soon though rn we're like in a long distance kinda thingy. She is doing her diploma in electronics far away from me. About us, we met at a dance workshop, and I love her so soo much and vice versa!!! We’ve had a healthy bond and chemistry for around 3 years, and she’s always been supportive of me. I put priority over her before anyone.

Though TH doesn't know that we love one another (haven't said that to him, cuz idk maybe we aren't yet close), he still sent a text to me about it, which I found weird.

I'm naturally super protective her, so I ignored him. Maybe I thought he was unlucky in love or sum (not sure if that was creepy 😭).

Later, I told her to block his Insta and stuff, and she did. I told her the whole incident, and she also told me to be careful around this guy cuz something about it didn't sit right with her, and that he could con me someday.

**Incident 4 (Recent one):**

Recently, there was a college challenge where we needed 3 members. TH brought me the idea, so I joined him and brought my friend S, while I paid the ₹300.

S and TH didn't know each other, but after I shared their contacts for the project, TH started ordering S around. They had a few minor CAD disagreements, but things escalated and both backed out. I even apologized to S on TH's behalf, but he said TH was being controlling.

In the end, I wasted my ₹300 over something that could've easily been handled with a mature conversation.

**Incident 5 (Recent one):**

I had a jaw surgery and nose job recently due to various reasons, it was cosmetic and functional purposes. I thought he was a nice friend to confide how much insecure and stuff I felt, but then he judged me😭 he didn't even take my insecurity serious like what?!!!! He was like "that's okay, leave the insecurities man🤓."

Right now I have placed so many boundaries. I know to take my own decisions, but I wanna know who’s fault is all this. Or I’m really confused if friends would be like this. Sometimes we have random phone calls and he talks about the former first year class friends and how he lost touch with them, and even curses them out.

I wonder if he does the same thingy about me with others too.

I feel like he’s just using me and taking me for granted.

I really wanna know how to deal with this situation. Is he really weird for doing this? Is anyone in a similar situation? Please navigate me!!! 😭
