How to let the video keep playing after clicking the playlist button?

Hello, just patched Youtube a while ago and for some reason whenever I watch a video and save it to a playlist, the video automatically pauses. Is there a way to disable this? This new feature is bit annoying in my end. Any help is appreciated.

And for context, I use a spoof version of the app.
