RNs that wear their work badge to a non-work hospital during a family visit… why?
I haven’t seen that until now. Twice in one week, different patients/families. One was confused for a working Rn but focus for a second and it’s obvious the badge is for a completely different hospital network. Both also introduced themselves as RNs to the assign RN for their family, as if the badge didn’t do the talking.
Those that have been in my shoes, donyiu say anything? Ask them to remove the badge to avoid confusion? Involve security / charge/admin?
