Anyone here actually licensed a product? Need some advice

I have a consumer product with a patent and prototype, and I’m looking into licensing instead of manufacturing it myself. For anyone who’s actually gone through a licensing deal, what should I know?

Mainly curious about royalties, upfront payments, exclusivity, minimum guarantees, and what to watch out for when negotiating. Would especially love to hear from anyone who’s licensed a consumer, wellness, or sexual wellness product.

Just trying to learn from people who’ve actually done it before.
