Finally got this thing together after spending way too much time planning the parts, airflow and cable routing.

Main specs:

\-CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X3D

\-GPU: Gigabyte AORUS RTX 5080 Master 16GB

\-Motherboard: Gigabyte X870E AORUS Elite X3D

\-Cooler: Phanteks Glacier One 420D30 X2

\-Case: HAVN HS 420

\-PSU: MSI MAG A1000GLS

\-Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB + Samsung 980 Pro 2TB

\-Fans: 11× Phanteks D30-140s

\-Cables: CableMod Pro ModMesh extensions

Airflow is 3× reverse D30s on the side as intake, 3× reverse on the bottom as intake, top 420mm radiator with 3× D30s as exhaust, plus a rear intake and rear exhaust.

I ended up connecting the fan groups directly to the motherboard instead of using the case PWM repeaters so I can control each zone independently. The ModMesh extensions were mostly an aesthetic choice since the A1000GLS already comes with surprisingly nice sleeved cables, but the CableMod combs definitely make the visible 24-pin/EPS runs look more organized.

Cooling performance has been kind of ridiculous so far. The 5080 Master stays around the low 60s even under heavy stress testing, and I’ve started testing the OC headroom. So far I’ve seen around 3.3 GHz GPU clocks while keeping temperatures very comfortable.

Went for a clean black build with a lot of airflow rather than filling every visible space with hardware. The HS 420 is absolutely massive and insanely heavy once everything is installed, but I really like how much room it gives the components.

Still working on final fan curves, RGB/LCD setup and dialing in the GPU/CPU/RAM tuning.

Curious what you guys think of the airflow setup and cable management, and whether you’d change anything.

PS: I'm borrowing some RAM for now until it becomes affordable again

Finally finished my 9950X3D + AORUS RTX 5080 Master build in the HAVN HS 420 + Phanteks
