no friends, please help

how the fuck do you meet people in college when you’re from out of state? I have talked to a couple people but nobody has asked me to hang out and I feel so alone constantly seeing people walking around with their friends. I’ve gone to some club meetings but no luck. is it just me who has no friends? please help I need reassurance that I won’t be alone the whole year.
