Morality of killing yourself in an Airbnb so your family doesn’t find your body?
I AM NOT GOING TO KILL MYSELF!!! What’s the morality of killing yourself in an Airbnb? On one hand, your family will not have to deal with the trauma of finding your dead body. On the other hand, the stranger hosting it will likely be severely traumatized. Further, by having a death on the property it reduces the value of their home, even if it’s self inflicted. I’m not entirely sure, but I think homeowner has to eat the cost of repairing/cleaning up whatever filth the chosen method leaves behind as well.
Ignoring the immorality of killing yourself when there’s people who love you of course. They’ll be very shaken up regardless of if they’re the ones that find the body, so that can all be ignored. But finding the body itself might make this emotional trauma way worse. So is avoiding that potential additional trauma on your loved ones worth the life changing effects it would have on an otherwise innocent Airbnb owner?
