Bitrate is skyrocketing and I'm not sure what to do. Please help!
I'm fairly new to streaming, and I've never had this issue before. I recently set up a vertical layout and enabled enhanced broadcasting in OBS, and I feel like this is the point where I begin seeing these issues, though I'm not entirely sure. I'll try to share whatever relevant information I can think of, but please be patient with as I'm still learning a lot of this stuff. Here's what I thought to share:
System Specs: 5070 Ti, Core Ultra 7 265KF, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, 2 TB SSD
In OBS Stream Settings, I have Enhanced Broadcasting enabled, as well as Aitum Vertical for the Vertical Layout. Nothing is changed in Advanced options.
In OBs Output settings, I have NVIDIA NVENC H.264 selected as the video envoder, with rescale output disabled. It was previously set to x264, but I was told it would be better on NVENC. The encoder settings are set to Constant Bitrate, 6000 Kbps, 0 s, and Preset P5.
In OBS Video Settings, I have both Base and Output Resolution set to 1920x1080. The FPS value is set to 60 FPS.
Doing a network speed test, my network speed is 249 Mbbs download and 77.2 Mbps upload.
Is there anything else I can send? Please help, I'd really like to continue streaming after putting so much work into setting it up. Until recently, I wasn't experiencing issues like this.
NOTE: I did try disabling vertical layout, but the dropped frames were still hovering around 22%, and the bitrate still shows as unstable.
