how strict are the CNA program appearance guidelines?

hi guys! i plan on taking the 8-week CNA program that starts in october of this semester. i was just wondering if anyone here knew how strict the instructors are about appearance — specifically hair. i currently have bright dyed red hair. the handbook says that unnatural colors are prohibited, but a few friends of mine have said that other medical programs at COD don’t seem to follow that guideline. i’m completely willing to dye my hair a natural color (ie: black), but i would like to avoid that depending on how strict they are. any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance :)
