Horrible experience with pet in hold

I flew from SeaTac to Tirana with a twelve hour layover in Frankfurt. My 18lb dog had to fly in the hold due to his weight. It was my understanding that during the layover in Frankfurt pets go to a lounge where they can stretch their legs and go potty etc.

My dog’s crate was zip tied closed and he never got out of his crate the entire 24 hours. He held his pee the entire time and was shaking when I got him back. They even put him on the luggage conveyor belt in Tirana just to make matters a bit worse.

I will never use this airline again.

I am so disappointed and will never use this airline again.
